For three months, I have had the opportunity to work with two other people in planning and presenting a presentation covering the issue of Bilingual/Hispanic students. We planned and completed a PowerPoint presentation that displays background information, problems, solutions, and our groups’ conclusions regarding Spanish-speaking students. One of our conclusions is that Spanish-speaking students no longer can sit in classrooms and not participate; they need to feel like part of the class which means schools need to hire more qualified Bilingual teachers. We also planned a review activity that complimented our PowerPoint presentation using a simplified version of baseball. This activity is wonderful for the kinesthetic learner and shows that teamwork is important in all aspects of our lives. Teamwork helps build trust towards others, and allows more ideas to be shared. The last thing we did as a group was combine all of our resources and make one annotated bibliography. We helped each other find articles and information on the Web in order to write our own research paper. I was glad to work in a team and learn the value of teamwork.</i>
