This WebQuest is designed for fourth graders.

Length of Time: 2 hours. One hour in the computer lab researching and taking the flag quiz, and the last hour in the classroom working on the posters.

You can find the answers to the flag quiz by going to Enchanted Learning Wepage

This activity is a thematic unit. One activity, incorporates active reading, writing, history, and technology. So, even though it takes two hours, the students are learning a lot!

Check to make sure Internet links are still working. Sometimes they get shut down or move to a different location.

Give students printed copies of the procedures. Sometimes, it is easier to follow along when they have a physical piece of paper telling them what to do.
