In this math methods course, I have been given many wonderful activity ideas that I will be able to use when I become a teacher. I want my future students to discover math, instead of being lectured to, therefore, these hands-on activities will aid in their discovery. Among the many lesson ideas, I have chosen three that I especially find useful and enjoyable. All three lessons teach a very different math concept. For instance, one lesson focuses on Measurement, the next is about Geometry, and the last teaches Probability. Even though they are all different, all the lessons invite student participation and critical thinking, which are important to have in a classroom. So, you can view each lesson by clicking on the above pages.
