The Center would like to continue the tradition of diversity and inclusivity training workshops. These include trainings for RAs and OLs, as well as retreats.

The Center would like to maintain and grow the leadership programs, based in diversity and inclusion, geared to underclass students. The program are designed to increase the leadership skills of the participants as well as produce events and workshops for the general student body.

The Center will create a marketing and promotion campaign to increase the visibility of the Center and its programming. The campaign will include, but not be limited to, print, social media, and digital ads. The second tier of this would be to create a relationship with the outside media to highlight major programs.

I would like to further increase the amount of traffic that the Center gets. More specifically, increasing the amount of people who visit for intentional programming of functions. This will be done by providing intentional programming in the space and passive activities such as media (TV, music) and prompt questions.

The work that the Multicultural Center does is an excellent learning environment for a graduate student. In tandem, a GA would be able to be tasked with programs that could expand the scope of Multicultural Affairs. This growth would be critical in moving the Center towards doing ground breaking work and gain acclaim across the country.
